I should note that one achievement - Fortune & Glory (explore 25 dungeons) - is poorly documented as to what 'counts' as an explored dungeon and can be very frustrating. Thankfully, there are only two achievements around the village mode.Īll in all, the game can be fairly enjoyable and if you're 'into' fantasy RPGs, it's an easy one and a good way to pass a week of playing, however dont expect a vast gaming experience because it's not going to give you that. It's fairly easy and not too deep, but mainly serves as a central location to store your loot so you dont have to carry it around in the rest of you multiplayer modes. Sure, there are other open-world action titles (whatever that means), but there's a deep vein of genre content to be. 'Village' mode (the 1/2 mode) - you buy some land, build buildings and and economy and earn some $$. Two Worlds II has arrived at a moment strangely devoid of other games like it.

Once you get access to a sailing boat the game opens up even more as there are some neat areas to explore.Like underground areas located on tiny sand islands you would never even think such an installation would exist. Also in the MP mode - team deathmatch, capture the crystals & duels - all are 'meh' at best (the MP achievements can be easily boosted, FWIW) Two worlds II really improves at later levels and once your off the training island and you develop some skills. The campaign has more or less no storyline, but it's a fun way to play. In the muitiplayer game you can do a co-op campaign (which you can do entirely alone except for the final quest). Multiplayer game - this is something that doesnt show up in RPG-type games all that often. Single Player campaign (described above) The current TA ratio of this game is hovering slightly below 2.0, but i dont believe that it's because the achievements are all that difficult, more likely - people probably give up on the game. In my opinion, the melee-based characters are probably the easiest to use. All of these are fairly simple to learn and easy to use.

The humor in the game is really nice and makes it enjoyably and once you figure out the mechanics of the game, it's quite easy.īecause you dont choose a character at the beginning, your stats and skills can push you to the typical crew of characters - melee, archer based & magic. After 10 hours in the game, i started to enjoy it a lot more. Within about two hours into the game, I hated it. The game follows our hero through the typical fantasy-world RPG type of questline: you are tasked to save your sister from the evil emperor, often taking time off to go collect flowers for someone who needs them or following a teacher to see where he put his test answers - you know the game, it's a pretty common theme for most RPGs - the main story line isnt extremely long, so it gets a lot of filler from side quests.Īs per usual - you level, get experience points to increase your stats. I'm somewhat surprised that this game hasnt been reviewed yet, so i thought i'd give it a shot.
